Probably their best album, but FC is such a nostalgic album for me that I still prefer it mostly.

It’s interesting to learn that song is about Touché Amore. I still take the song as a way to experience life with grace in general, but that’s interesting.

of all the bands who've gotten back together from this genre and released new music, this is the band who legitimately could top all of them

It's very likely that they'll release a new album eventually.

i hope, but they had a pretty tumultuous underoath esque situation (members constantly fighting over what direction they go) and geoff says they'd only make new music if they all thought it was any good because they think comeback albums are usually shit, but considering like glassjaw hopesfall and brand new i feel they'll probably get to it eventually

apparently geoffs initial plan for how city by the light was supposed to sound was basically the first united nations album imagine if that happened lol

That's interesting. I haven't listened to United Nations, but ACBTLD is my second favorite Thursday album. I'll have to check it out.

citys actually my fav thursday but un doesn't really sound like it, except at this velocity but just imagine a faster shorter more aggressive version of that song for like 25 minutes

both united nations albums and their ep are incredible btw so absolutely worth a jam

I always used to ignore this band for some reason, but just recently this and common existence just clicked with me out of nowhere and I’m pretty happy about that

This album is incredibly good, and I agree so much with the first paragraph. It's one of those albums that are one step above everything else in the scene.

I'm always torn between a 4.5/5 on it.

In a perfect world Thursday would've released at least two more albums by now, and be touring with Circa Survive right now or something
