I like Fortress in bits and pieces but as a whole album it's disjointed as fuck. But it also has Bloodmeat, Sequoia Throne and Goddess Bound which are some of the best PtH have to offer.

i don't find fortress 'disjointed'. THe song structures are obviously a little 'out there' but its much more hooky and coherent than this. Some songs on Fortress really dig, and Rody never fucks up on it, while on here it seems like they got lazy. For the most part the riffs are pretty bland and Rody's melodies, somehow, totally suck and seem out of place. However, C'est La Vie, Termites and Hair-Trigger all smash my face
