wow, I just wasted about 15 good minutes of my life reading the comments in these "40-something" last few pages......(and another 5 minutes responding to them lol).......
is it just my delusion here, or are we supposed to be talking about Yes''s Close to the Edge album?
First of all, you can't compare Rush to Yes to Genesis or any other group for that matter...."Prog" is not just "prog".....in 1972, these guys, all professionals, deliberately went out of their way to be INDIVIDUALS, to create their own identity musically and lyrically, as YES.......not to be compared to other talented bands, and especially not to become useless internet fodder for guys with "dicks that think alike" as someone so aptly put it in an earlier post......ha ha
