The band is at a weird point now. I'm very intrigued at what their next album (which is apparently coming out this year) will sound like.
ATS was an experimental recording that I for one, loved. I know the vast majority loathed it and I think that's what made LP go for a heavier direction on Living Things. And to me, LT was a mess of an album because of it. It sounded like a band that has yet to find it's sound.
LP either need to go in an experimental direction or go back to their roots, because if LT is any indication to go by, they can't stay in the middle any longer.

I loved it too man. Also they shouldn't care about people liking it and do what they want. They have a shit ton of money from HT alone anyway.

Lol, Old linkin park is better than this, this one has a good concept but this one is not well crafted

Only weak track is Robot Boy tho.
|
| |
Robot boy is a putrid piece of poop, catalyst is lame as hell, the messenger is an inspid acuostic
ballad. And the other songs are average as hell.

I dig Catalyst hard bro.

That repetitive chorus annoys me, and the instrumentation of that track could have been far, far, far better

But dat texture

Not bad but that track is not my thing, usually I give a chance to most LP's stuff, but the catalyst is not good at all.
