Serenades is good too. It's not a good start becouse it has NOTHING in common with their new stuff. If you want to know how the band is now and how will be in the future then check whbwh and ws. Because anathema were dark and 'sad' in their career. If you like katatonia , paradise lost or old amorphis start with Eternity or Alternative 4. The Silent Enigma is fantastic and not so 'brutal' like serenades. You have to check it too.. well , check everything :P
