They brought up a few more, uh, """""Experimental""""" elements into the music, but the overall feel of the music was unchanged

It was like at first it was group of obnoxious drunken showerless idiots with nothing but basic band equipment fucking around, now it's a group of obnoxious drunken showerless idiots with a lot of instruments and ideas

The indie rock elements on this really threw me off at first.

I always thought Vacation had more Indie Rock in it, for some reason

That was one of the reasons I didn't like it much at first.

The jump from Cool World! to Get Warmer is massive. Production quality increases exponentially, there's like no hardcore elements, songs ended up really indie-fied and not weird...Get Warmer may have been their worst album but it was basically a false start at what Adults!!! ended up being and for that I am grateful. Plus, Warmer perfectly bridges the gap between the progression from Cool World! to Scrambles so the progression seems really natural.
