This is best Rise Against. RPM is a close second though

These guys worth checking out? How would you describe their sound?

Yeah, this and Siren Song are worth a listen. Big melodic punk jams with lots of energy and accessibility ig, nothing particularly fancy but a reliable fix

Cool. I’m almost done with my Touche Amore run, trying to decide whether to tackle these guys, Pianos Become the Teeth or The Dear Hunter next.

Hmm I'd probs do one RA album as a easy-digest interval deal and the hop onto the Dear Hunter

Revolutions Per Minute is great as well. Really great tunes.

Interesting suggestion. I typically like to go through a band’s entire discog chronologically when discovering them.

Are you essentially saying that TDH deserves my attention before I explore RA?

Ah, gotcha. Going through entire discogs is a great way to go for sure, but TDH has more mileage than RA - you don't need to go much further beyond this one (what I've heard of their debut + RPM through this are defs worth your time though, and if you want to go all the way then good for you ;]). Your call ig, both good options

I can't really imagine getting into Rise Against through the discog now - honestly though I try to avoid collections as much as possible, the band are a big greatest-hits band.

As well as a few deep cuts tbf

Yeah tbh, I'd very rarely listen to a full album by these guys these days but the choice cuts hold up well
