Those are my 3 favorites from this as well, with Violet Hill being my favorite. Also can't forget about the 2nd half of Lovers In Japan (reign of love) - absolutely stunning.
The Prospekt's March tracks are excellent too. If you combine the best of that with this in place of the weaker tracks, you have a stone cold pop classic if you ask me.

Somebody who thinks Lost! isn't goosebumps-raising is missing out. It elicits the same response in me as the end of 'Fix You' in terms of that sweeping emotion that Coldplay can do when they're firing on all cylinders. The way the the chorus bridge seamlessly pushes into that 'every river that I tried to cross' through to the 'ohhh I' is masterful.
Anyway, yeah this a pretty strong album. It's not my favourite, but it's definitely very important in terms of Coldplay's career trajectory. If they hadn't released this then they would have been swallowed into the inoffensive soft-rock hole leaving Coldplay defenders like me without a critical leg to stand on.

Album just makes me sad now because I know they can make stuff like this if they want to but instead they're collaborating with the goddamn Chainsmokers

I mean there's quite a bit of nostalgia at work here but at the very least this is not better/more interesting than the crap they've put out since?
