Just because YOU don't see it used in context of being homophobic does NOT mean others will see it that way.
Oh well. What people think isn't how I run my life.
it DOES appear as though you defend this band endlessly.
I defend them when they're accused of things that are untrue, things that question their integrity, and things that reflect more on the listener than the band. When a listener chooses to dislike Rody's voice, due to tone or whatever, that's fine; it's a matter of taste. But when someone says HIS VOICE SUCKS, or something less exaggerated, I point it out.
I just think that people who don't like this band should be able to say so and not get their thoughts questioned.
Maybe you should stop putting words into my mouth, because I've been saying this the entire time. There's a trend in the remarks I attack: they're all ill-thought, ridiculous and inapplicable.
I have no issue with the taste of others. I do, howevre, have issues with people cheapening the band's work, or the enjoyment fans get from their music, because it doesn't line up with their taste.
Take a good read of these pages. It's fairly obvious that I take offence to inaccuracy, ignorance and ego (egos far more inflated than my own, at that) and never with taste.
I felt the need to point out Battle's gross inferiority because, as a fan of music and all music, it sickens me to see scum like him approach music with such an awful and disgusting attitude.

I concede, as you make a valid argument. However, I think, when you do defend the band, you could be a little less vulgar about it...

That's just how I am. It's the internet, some stuff doesn't translate to text, so I amp it up as much as I can. I see nothing wrong with vulgarity, really.

I actually manage to take my ex to a Hardcore show. She had a good time. I remember this time when I put Opeth in the car with her and she said and I quote "I imagine Bowser singing."
Lilitu: "RUH RUH RUH RAWR!"

If anyone ever brought PTH to court over something Coke would be their lawyer. I don't care if he's not licensed, he would get the job done. I admire your passion and well articulated arguments, Coke. And I honestly think Protest is one of the greatest metal bands out there right now.

Jack last time I checked if you don't like faggots, it's an opinion or a belief, and not a phobia. Quit being liberal.
Quit being a bigot.

It's near the end, at the build up. Right before the "Our Goddess Gave Birth to Your God" part. About 3:30 minutes into the song i think.

Glad to see that every conservative is still a redneck.
Not every conservative, but based on your comments, you definitely are.
Anyways, back on topic, Q101 in Chicago played Bloodmeat and I was floored that they actually played a Protest the Hero song.

I never do. My friend Mike called me up and was all excited cause our really terrible local "alternative" station was playing good music. They followed up with Anterior, Machine Head, and Arch Enemy. I guess every Mon-Fri 11-12am they play extreme music. Oh, they also played a new Winds of Plague song.
So do PTH have a keyboardist. Because in #3 it sounds like an orchestra is playing along with them, and in a few other songs as well.

Indeed he has. I've been here a while. It's just that whole banning thing that always gets me. Most likely from arguments with Josh D.
