crazy how dissimilar the receptions for this are on here vs on RYM

cool album, the overt romanticism of it has grown off me though, and the writing doesn't seem to me as inspired as it did back then when i heard this initially

I mean I guess its bolded there and has a fanbase for sure, but here this is regarded as like, an all-time classic or so given the rating. And the ~800 ratings is kinda a crazy amount. Just feels like one of the most singular sputnik faves from what i know (though yeah i havent used this site much during the past ~5 years)

rym averages are uniformly lower for any kind of "classic", well-known and/or acclaimed album

mb rym also attracts more discerning users on average? at least when it comes to the ratings of more niche stuff. the fact that not all users are weighted equally also helps

Don't change your avi that is the best album, but of you have to, click one of the "Edit" tabs on your user profile, I can't remember which but maybe it's on the forum side?

I'll be honest I don't hear a world of difference between the OG and remaster of Stella but there seems to be a little less frequency masking so the best song ever made just got better
