fair enough. the key for me was just wanting to listen to a few songs off it (whenever this happens on an album, i call the song a "hook" or "hooker") and then i just let the rest of the record play and sink in regardless of whether or not i really care or am paying attention. then eventually all the songs hit me pretty much one by one.
for me the "hookers" on this are the first four tracks, then the last two and/or "Big Empty Apartment" and the rest of them are pretty inaccessible but come with time
