Ascension Day might be the most bombastic song they wrote, and it's executed perfectly. For others it ends completely abruptly before After the Flood starts, right?

Ah, good then.

I'm reading a book for my Mysticism and Spirituality class on the healing properties of various plant life, it's pretty incredible to read, and this band is the perfect soundtrack for it.

New Grass is becoming my favorite post-rock song, I discover more and more to it every time I listen.

Those are some of the most ridiculous sounding drums I've ever heard in Ascension Day.

Ridiculously awesome?

I read a thing about this album (I don't remember where I read things anymore, soz) that said the band was going for a very roomy sound, like the drummer is setting up his kit and they nailed that vibe so hard.

Almost sounds like coming across a jazz drummer while walking downtown

After the flood is even better in that regard actually.

I couldn't pick a favorite from this because they're all pretty much perfect.

After listening to this I realize I should lower my Sigur Ros ratings.

The originality I thought I found on ( ) is totally right here.

What kind of logic is that?? ( ) sounds absolutely nothing like this.

I kinda get what he means because ( ) is Sigur ros' more "subtle" album but comparing it to this is a totally different.

Not even that it's their subtle album. Completely different stylistically, vocally, instrumentally. Just in every way lol just don't see any correlation
