When the drumming enters in This Place Is Death it feels like a proper sudden acceleration, love it.

I appreciate the t/t. The bridge is lazy but the chorus is a beauty, really like the lyrics too. Oh and the final breakdown slaps, I dig how the drums accentuate on the riff

Yeah Chino is awesome, such a unique voice. And Abe gives them so much groove, perfect drummer for the band.

The brutally honest truth is big if true Deftones fans were all devastated by what happened with Chi and this album coming out was more of a therapy session than a good album. In a way it deserved this 4.2 average the year it came out, but it's not even close to a 4.2. In some ways it's just not good at all.
