That song changed the bass game

i'd go as far as to say its one of the most perfect heavy rock songs I've heard. bassline, riffs, quality chorus etc...
and now Muse is just making SHITT : (

Calm down dude, muse is going through the "hot space" syndrome, they'll return to their sound when no one is expecting it.

dunno. I think Matt B loves the fact he is a pop star these days

I liked when he used to be low profile and dated that Italian Psychologist, but then he dated Kate Hudson and "Fuck dating anonymous women, I'M GOING TO DATE HOLLYWOOD STARS!".

The first time I ever saw/heard these guys was when they played Hysteria at the Brit Awards and holy fuck it changed my life.

Yeah a Spanish friend sent my hysteria through messenger (the old messenger) but it wasn't until I discovered stockholm syndrome I got obsessed.

This, OoS and BH&R are still fantastic today. I wish this band could still write albums like that. Instead we're just getting really mixed bags
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
black holes was the definition of a mixed bag, some great tracks and some awful ones
since then they haven't made a single song worth remembering
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
Strongly disagree, Black Holes is fun as hell. And we always got one or two great songs
The Resistance - Exogenesis
The 2nd Law - Animals
Drones - Reapers, The Handler, Dead Inside

Album Rating: 4.0
none of those songs are good
black holes had great tracks like starlight, map of the problematique, take a bow etc.
then it had garbage like supermassive black hole and knights of cydonia
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
Lil, these songs are not garbage at all
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
they absoluitely are
supermassive black hole could have been written by any generic mid-200s british indie band, it's so painfully unintelligent
knights does the exact opposite, the intro is good but then it goes into pretentious drivel for kis who think they're a genius and better than everyone else because they listen to classical music that literally everyone's read and they have to like a bit of rock so they don't seem like some posh twat but instead look like some virgin loser who got an A in a math test once (Source: I had to be around at least three seperate people like this during secondary school, it was cringy as hell)
