no not at all, my favorite Neil young song is Down by the River. Just think those songs are alittle corny, although I like them, not in my top 20, those songs don't move them in any direction, Snowblind is better written than sweet leaf, but the songs are written to be more mainstream, and concise, I know that sounds weird, but hey are pretty basic song structures, as far as I am concerned, just happen to be about drugs

You really do have a complex with everything that's simple, mainstream, catchy or not too complicated, don't you?

plus I don't see why being catchy can be bad in a song

And definitely being "commercial" doesn't mean to be bad, at least not everytime

Ok, Ok guys, my back is breaking, I love all that "simple" stuff too, I just prefer especially lately the more obtuse, lengthy stuff, huge fan of Zappa, The Dead, yes, Genesis, It has given me a perspective of that "commercial" stuff as a little boring, does not mean that I don't still like it all, just taste is changing, I think I overdid it with that stuff, and was looking to expand my horizons, and I did, nothing against any of the catchy top forty stuff, especially in the 65-77 range, know that as well os the other stuff

I do prefer lenghtier stuff, I'm one of the bigger prog fans in sputnik but sometimes I just want to have fun, chill and sing Livin' on a Prayer like an idiot, there are some circunstances where proggier stuff just won't fit
