There’s a non-zero % chance all 4 AFC East teams make the playoffs. Slim odds, but it’s somehow possible.

That would be nuts…
Also I guess Mahomes did his Mahomes thing last night… Felt bad for Mars…

Mahomes was 100% beatable and our defense is elite. However, our offense is the definition of liquid ass.
This team invested essentially nothing in the offense, which means we will beat teams below us/teams we "should" beat, but we can't stand up to the KCs and Buffalos of the world.

I get it. Yeah well I want to be upset about Tom Brady pulling a Tom Brady but at this point I just kind of think it’s funny. I told all of my friends this would happen, maybe I should knock on wood next time…

Still baffles me that the Titans let AJ Brown go. Either there were no receivers open all game or Willis couldn’t see well downfield. Those end of game sacks were brutal. Chiefs did a good job bottling Henry up enough to force Willis to make a play, which he could not.
Chiefs offense looked bad for 95% of that game and yeah they were def beatable.

Also I wasn’t watching the Bucs game live but was tracking play by play on my phone. I saw there were like 30 sec left with the ball in Brady’s hands and I was like “yeah he’s going to win right now” and sure enough he did. Tom Terrific still exists inside that husk of a man lol

Rams defense approached that final stretch horribly. Tom is Tom, but man did they make it far too easy for him. And then they bit on a run when Tampa had no timeouts and had only, what, 13 seconds on the clock and a historically-putrid running game?
The team has become the living embodiment of "don't care, got ring."

Also, can we all appreciate we've made this nearly 50 pages lol, I love this community.
Gonna do Week 10 NFL Rankings tomorrow or Thursday, gonna be a fair amount of movement I believe.

Raheem Morris’ obsession with soft zone defenses keeps getting us in trouble. We have the worst run game in the league and one of the worst o-lines. It’s pretty wild. I’m almost ready to just move on from the season.
And yeah we’ve been going at this since July it’s crazy. Let us know when you put the rankings up!

I'm running my Build-an-Album competition, which might get posted today/tomorrow. Depending on how that shakes out, the rankings will go up around that time or maybe later.
Also, any credence to the rumors McVay is considering/on the verge of retirement? Would be pretty shocking.

Apparently he said when the “core group” of the squad retires, he’ll probably retire too. I believe his contract extension was four years, but my guess is that the team will start disintegrating when Aaron Donald goes.

That'd still be pretty shocking due to his young age and, until recently, incredible success. But I suppose the stress and long hours are grueling, plus he'd be staring down the barrel of a pretty extensive rebuild.

Yeah I mean he got offered a mint to be a broadcaster for Amazon prime i think. I hope he doesn’t do the normal LA thing and bail when things look dark…

And note: I know I said I’m almost ready to move on from the season but it was an expression. I’ll have my wits tried until the bitter end…

Some coaches just don't feel like doing a rebuild. I feel like McVay is talented enough to make it work, but it can be a pretty long process before rewards start to roll in. It's equally possible that the "fuck then picks" mentality is going to handcuff their rebuilding efforts in the future, even if it was able to buy a championship.
Worth noting that some of the key pieces of that run (Donald and Kupp for example) were drafted and developed in-house. You kinda need some homegrown talent to serve as a foundation.
