My point exactly tho, they get regular play on that station I guess because one of their guys was in Story of the Year so they promote the shit out of any show they play so they sell out the pageant, meanwhile these guys have played there several times and have to literally fucking break up to drum up enough excitement to sell the place out.

It’s just fucking infuriating.

I’m just so disappointed that these guys can hardly break even on any given headlining tour aside from some bullshit “10 Year Anniversary Tour” for a record they don’t even like and then go on get next to no support from a station that should literally be sucking their dicks.

But hey, I guess that’s probably why we got a record as good as the self titled so maybe it’s a blessing and a curse.

Mark my words, these guys will blow the fuck up in the next few years and most people will all be wondering why they never got their flowers.

Or maybe I’m delusional and they’ll never get their due. It’s a nice thought though.

yeah I kinda thought you might not dig this one as much but, unless you’re absolutely HATING the record, I really can’t recommend their Live at the Grandel recording enough. It’s the entire album performed live and shot on location and it is so, so much better. Watching them perform is definitely part of the charm but there’s some seriously impressive camerawork and editing, and some of these tracks just sound sound a lot better with the rawness that comes with playing this kind of stuff live. Speak With the Dead and 737 in particular are fucking jaw dropping.

I think literally every song on that recording is better than their studio counterparts.

Seriously man it is so good. Someone timestamped all of the songs in the comments so you can skip the little interlude if you don’t wanna watch the whole thing.

I still really wish they’d put that version on streaming, I don’t know how it all works but I own it on vinyl so idk if they just didn’t think there was enough interest or what.

Nah this album is awesome. It's nowhere close to S/T or NMG but it's just a totally different vibe. Foxing for Radio.
