Bed Head sounds the closest to black mile, which is an album I'd place among the best alt rock albums of all time, alongside devil and god & arrows and anchors. So, no surprise it's my favourite here.
I just don't know about this album. It certainly isn't bad, but I was kind of lying to myself for a while about how good it is, because I really wanted to love this. It's still a decent listen front to back, just one of their weakest albums imo

Yeah I listened to this a ton as well, mostly for the highlights like Bed Head and Annie, but because I’m a staunch ‘album guy’ I tended to play the full thing despite some inconsistencies here and there.

Agreed, this was one of my most spun and I think I enjoy it more than I thought. Its a bit almost overly consistent so the whole thing just glides by
