I know Rou is sick of the screaming, but they should had stick with the mindsweeper style. For me that album is peak Shikari.

They're at their best when they mix the screaming in. They're so good at creating emotional peaks in their songs with screaming sections (see Rat Race) and they don't need to overdo it. Warm Smiles is one of my favorite songs from ES and it's pretty chill until the end when it finally explodes. Same with Anaesthetist. I'd like them to lean into some heavier stuff again but I don't need it all to be Ghandi or Zzzonked.

I do too but at least before The Spark came out they were playing all the shit live and it ruled. They basically made medleys of all their songs and I legit heard 75% of their catalog over two shows I went to in 2016 and 2017.
