a flood of light -> whispers among us -> contretemps is one of the best song sequences in recent memory

The production on this is too damn clean, I'm finding it tricky to get into

Contretemps might be better than Hollow Hour
I absolutely cannot get tired of this album

Agreed it’s addicting.
Still can’t get over the band name though. Like the name of an NYC pizza joint.

Favourite was Hollow Hour, now it's A Flood of Light. Album is immense.

I still get goosebumps from when Aftermath transitions into Rituals. The music goes from super optimistic/hopeful and then the most subtle little change in tone of the music feels like a storm is slowly rolling in. Reminds me of the "Red Wedding" episode from Game of Thrones where it's all happy and great and then the music changes and you can feel everything's gonna go to shit.

This is awesome, just don't expect their earlier releases to sound so (bizarrely) cohesive.
