The third disc isn't really part of the album, and shouldn't really considered part of the rating.

You're right Willie. I'm mainly talking about disk two. The third disk is completely bonus stuff with covers and live material. I wouldn't base my rating off that.

agreed. Only because its a lil slower doesnt mean that there are no good songs to be found

I don't dislike disk two. Disk one fits together a little bit better as a whole for me. It's all subjective, but I think it's a little too long in some areas. I'm finding myself having a harder time sitting through it outside a few songs. Confusion & Spit Out The Bone I re-visit frequently. The whole record is solid for me I'm just not particularly excited about the sum of it's parts.

I basically just listen to

1. Hardwired

2. Atlas Rise

3. Moth Into Flame

4. Halo on Fire

5. Confusion

6. Spit Out the Bone

Would be a 3.5-4 with this tracklist

Spit Out the Bone absolutely slays. Hands down their best song in 20 years.

There's actually a semi decent album among the filler tracks.

Here Comes Revenge intro reminds me a lot of Harvester of Sorrow intro

Chorus to Dream No More is very 'thing that should not be'

These are both good things for me.

Halo on Fire has grown a lot on me. May be my favorite after Moth into Flame and Spit out the Bone

Looking at their latest live videos and seeing Lars wearing a white beard and Kirk's white wig thinking, damn, your heroes are getting old. Time sucks...
