Lune is so good. I'd thought about incorporating it into my wedding somehow but couldn't figure out a way to do it without being completely oblivious to the fact that I would be subjecting my guests (and wife) to a seven minute song.

And instead of having two comments I'm just going to write this instead.

so apparently the new album is going to have another 15 minute song
as if this band wasn't pretentious enough

I'm kinda excited actually. They said the 15 minute song will be the first song on the record or something like that. Such an opener would be interesting pacingwise. Reminds me of Nightwish's Poet and Pendulum.

a 15 minute song as an opener is never a good thing

Toon, I don't know how you can honestly say this band is pretentious. The literally make fun of themselves constantly.
|

With that monstrously long opening song, I hope the tracklist is short

It'll be interesting. I've always associated a long track with the end of an album, but if they can pull this off, good for them!
|
| |
I hope their new album makes for as excellent an instrumental version as this one does

the only way I can see that 15 track work for an opener is if it's broken into separate songs, something to at least give it variety without it being exhausting
