It’s not bad, just a bit bland and safe. Some bad tracks. The deluxe version is better as I’m sure you know.

Matt's such a great songwriter and vocalist that I'm sure they're capable of doing something awesome with him, I just have very little faith that they actually will especially considering the producer involved

lol there is no way the new song will be good. But I will check it out and give it a fair shot.

apparently they think John Feldmann is the closest they can get to Jerry Finn so we're stuck with him until they break free of Feldmann's brainwashing

matt>tom
like this has a loooot of problems but theyre really all courtesy of mark/feldy like for the little that he's given to work with matt is like the one thing keeping this ship even slightly afloat

Album Rating: 2.0
and yeah they really really like working with feldy although i wish they picked someone that didnt sound as artificial as feldy one of my biggest problems w this album is how much of it was actually written BY feldy
honestly so much is pointing to the new record being even worse than this but the newest alk3 album was so good that matt can do whatever the fuck he wants if it means alk3 is churning out shit as good as their golden period

Album Rating: 2.4
y'all know Feldy isn't producing the new one alone right. they've been in with like 3-4 producers at this point and they're still in studio with no Feldmann

Yesss Neighborhoods gets too much hate. It’s actually godlike compared to this.

Just re-read some of my review here and usually I dislike them after a while but I basically still agree with the slamming I gave this vapid, manufactured crap lol

Album Rating: 2.5
Neighborhoods is what grown-up blink should sound like honestly. it was mature and felt like a natural progression from the self-titled.

and I think Matt Malpass who is really really good

Neighborhoods has slams but its worst songs easily rival the worst on this lmao. Love is Dangerous is fucking embarrassing

Album Rating: 2.0
I always liked Neighborhoods. I think it's a great album today. I mean it's not perfect but yeah I'm pretty sure the whole fanbase would kill for that sound now.

the extra tracks on the deluxe edition more than make up for the clunkers on that album, which really aren't as bad as anything here
