I do not get all of the comments re: bad production. This sounds pretty stellar, and I'm listening to it in my mediocre car stereo; did all y'all get a bad rip? Maybe go buy the album for $12?

Didn't find this all that interesting on first listen. Pretty boring, if anything. I do like the Triangles song (but mostly because of that delayed hypnotic clean guitar in the verse).

Yeah its pretty damn good actually,after my first listen i was ready to give it a 2 but 8-10 listens later its probably sitting in the 3.5-4 spectrum now, only time will tell if it continues to grow (on or off me).

It is definitely an album that improves with each listen. It starts strongly and builds with each track. It then falls of a cliff with tracks 6,7 and 8. Probably some of the most boring music Deftones have ever written. Luckily business picks up on the final three tracks.

The ending of Phantom Bride is exceptional.

I kinda thought that with 6 & 7 as well (definitely not 8 tho), but the more I hear them, the more they're making sense to me. However, that intro riff to pittura infamante is fairly grating, especially coming off the ambiance of hearts/wires.
