I guess I'll only care if he gets a ton of praise for it...

"The ‘Monster‘ rapper is said to have been spending hours in the studio working on covers on Bowie’s most beloved hits such as ‘Changes‘, ‘Heroes‘ and ‘Rebel, Rebel‘."

I mean... it's interesting.

I can't stick the vocal delivery on the t/t and "'Tis a Pity She Was a Whore" is a bit meh, but the rest of the album is awesome.

the repeated 'i'm a black star' refrain is a bit annoying but love the song otherwise.

Yeah, the "I'm a black star" is just horrific to me. But I think the music is a little dull for a song that's nearly 10 minutes.

Blackstar t/t hit 78 as well.

Oh and Blackstar is the #1 album in America at the moment, though that one is less of a surprise.

Good to know the never songs are charting too. It's a similar story over here, 5 of his songs are in the top 40 and Lazarus is just outside at 45

Seems like a new audience are gonna be exposed to his music, that can only be a good thing.

"Heroes" is the best charting re-enter in the UK? See this is why England is better than the US when it comes to music taste. Like infinitely, I'm not even afraid of admitting it.

Everyone over here loves Heroes, it'd probably be the national anthem. I wish it was because our current one is pretty shit.

@evilford I'm subtle like that
