'Hell yes #TeamUnravel coming out of the woodwork baby, I love it.'
Love it to death, arguably my favourite Bjork song - but c'mon it's not like this is a hot-take, thought it was a fairly obvious choice?

All neon like would be my number two pick from the album

YES - that's a fandom that does need to come out of the woodwork, probably the most underrated track in her whole discog along with Heirloom (which is bizarrely one of the most similar)

I always thought 'Joga' was the most obvious choice from Homogenic, and based on the circles I mingle in, it seems 'Hunter' and 'All Is Full of Love' are typically placed over 'Unravel'. And there are a lot of ardent/vocal fans of both 'All Neon Like' and '5 Years'. There's always *someone* (besides myself) who puts 'Unravel' as #1, but I'd hardly call it a consensus choice, at least in my experience.

Fair enough, maybe a few users on here have distorted my perception of the ‘hierarchy’. Now, All Neon Like is a great sleeper pick, agreed with that one.

it's probably a cliche pick but Bachelorette is my fav

Joga > Alarm Call > Unravel > 5 Years > All Is Full of Love > Bachelorette > Immature > Pluto > All Neon Like > Hunter
Just recently bumped this to a 5 so don't hate me y'all, love this album. My 1 kick about Hunter is the bridge is so much better than the rest of the song I often forget how much I actually do love that song.
Alarm Call's so high bc that ish my feel good jam
Joga #1 bc it's Joga.

Nice pick. First 4 here are all 6/5 tracks, it just tails off a little (more than Vespertine). These days I’m not sure which I prefer.

My two top pickds from an overall excellent album are Joga and hunter. Both easy 5/5... but whole album is dope

Vespertine has a spellbinding tail end though

'Vespertine has a spellbinding tail end though'
Considering 'Unison' is also one of the greatest songs ever written, I'd have to agree.

Yup harm of Will into unison is a pretty special ending to an album. So cathartic. Harm of will in particular makes me feel things I knew one could feel. It reminds me of the way o porcupine leads into brownish spider and in a sweater poorly knit on brother sister. It’s like this oppressive dark brooding atmosphere leading into this joyous open transcendental sound.

just bought this record on vinyl as my first dive into Bjork - damn, I did everything right. Joga is such a good song. She kinda reminds me of Chino Moreno, so I guess she was an influence on him? Maybe?
however, cool review. I usually skip the part when the history of an artist is provided cuz it's boring and often not relevant. but given that story about the stalker, I think it's important that you provided some (interesting) context. Nice work.

First time I've ever seen that comparison, kudos for being original I guess. Can't say I see it myself though.
