"Talking Shit" and "God's Shoeshine" are my concrete top 2 but I struggle a bit beyond that - "Life like Weeds," "Night on the Sun," and "Spitting Venom" are all vying for 3rd place

I am a sucker for MM songs with long musical outros. Trailer Trash, Lounge, Trucker's Atlas, Dramamine...Love that shit.

I like that too though they kinda do it too much on this album if I'm being honest, a lot of the songs here could lose like a minute. In fact while I adore this band my biggest and only major criticism of Brock's songwriting is that a lot of his songs feel a tad half-written, he often repeats entire verses with little to no variation (my beloved Gravity does that but it's so perfect that it doesn't bother me there and fits with the song's theme of the inertia/weight of a meaningless/repetitive existence).

Accurate content, "Beach Side Property" is probs the best example here and kinda a chore to get through
|

I'm still anxiously awaiting the MM full instrumental album

the only song here that overstays it's welcome a bit for me is lounge
i can't agree with that beach side property take. it might be the most dynamic song here
