Roughly, in order:
- ripped up a bible on stage, said mean things about christianity
- some time later, charged with blasphemy by polish gov't.
- pop star girlfriend Doda also got charged with the same thing for event that occurred similarly long time ago (like, >1 year after saying mean things)
- neither were convicted
- Nergal got leukemia
- Doda/Nergal split
- Nergal recovers; begins writing new music
not known when they split (whether it was before/during/after his recovery).
tl;dr; nergal almost went to jail, almost died, and lost his pop star girlfriend so idec what lulzy lyrics about sataaaan he writes. especially since he basically turned up the satan to 11 just to anger the government.
