in this kind of music there's no such thing as "too catchy"

Yeah i realize saying too catchy is kinda stupid especially with this kind of music. That's just the way i feel.

I see why you return to it though, even when I'm not thinking about this album the chorus's seem to enter my head. Yes! Lights is one of the songs haha. There is actually a lot of Ellie Goulding songs I like but as a whole i dislike more songs than i enjoy.

I'd say one of the biggest things that make me enjoy this, Ellie and Grimes is just how unique their voices are.

I think I prefer female vocals over male vocals in general.

I watched part of that earlier in the week, but I was too busy to finish it.

I was reading somewhere that the version of Mother We Share that was on one of the EPs has slightly different production than the version that ended up on the album... anybody got a YouTube link (or any kind of link) to that version?

No link, but I remember seeing that too.

I'm sure it's not that hard if you search for it on YouTube.

Thanks for the link! It's only ever so slightly different, and I feel like most probably wouldn't even notice it if they weren't really paying attention... It was an archived thread from back when the video for the song was released, and most were saying that they far preferred the old mix.

Yeah, it was the most adorable pic of her I've seen yet, so I just had to make it my avatar. =]

yeah it's very similar to the album version, I had to check multiple times to see if it was even different.

That picture must have been from their Canadian interview when the interviewer offered them all the different winter caps.

Ahh, that makes sense. I was wondering why they were all wearing Canadian maple leaf emblazoned hats.
