Best Dickinson album for sure. The only one which can be compared with their best and debut album.

Iron Maiden opinions are all over the board. And they should be.

As long as you're not putting Blaze albums at #1, all is good

this isnt bad but it sounds very dated. i was listening the other day and the first 2 tracks sound like they belong in a late 80s stallone/van damme flick.

shouldve been more specific; the synth part right after the intro of moonchild belongs right at the start of a running/training montage and the verse of infinite dreams would work real well right after our hero has a big fight with the love interest and is having flashbacks of all the good times (along with images of the villain) while driving, riding a motorcycle, riding the subway, etc.

Haha Dom, you're kind of right. Album is too awesome though. Synths are cool here, but Maiden definitely don't need them in their music.

it’s not a bad album by any means (cipwm is great) but it’s very much a product of its time

I suppose it really ends up depending on one's personal taste for synths. If someone is not a fan of them, then they probably won't like this or SiT that much. I, personally, love synths so I think the 80's vibe in here rules hard

I agree with Titan on Maiden "not needing" synths tho, but I certainly see them as a plus

I can't find anything wrong on this. It's just perfect.

Ppl put powerslave and SiT over this but when Maiden go too progressive tends to bore me.
