the same thing happened with Defeater. First album and ep were dope, but everything after was bloody horrible

oh wow, I love Keep You, but thought Wait for Love was a bit of a letdown



Also, totally man, Travels and Lost Ground are incredible, everything after that is super stale

Old Pride has some pretty good ones. Filial, Cripples Can't Shiver, and obviously Young Fire. Nothing compare to that album tho.

Young Fire is good but builds into nothing man. It would be so much better if they made a climactic finisher instead of recycling the intro riff...

Can somebody help me enjoy this? The instruments are great, but the singer is just sort of yelling. I wish he were singing more, or at least screaming that I could understand the words. Such Confidence is really good.

Yeah it seems the lyrics are deeply personal. I respect that. His voice certainly conveys the emotion. I guess his sound isn't for me.
