This is due for a hard jam.

Have the feeling this would have been better if some of the songs and interludes weren't there.

Intro + Midnight City is such a great Opener. Zola Jesus is killing it on Intro.

Best five songs from this would have made a great EP

Wait is a 5
|

Wait is a 5 indeed. Still think "Outro" is the best here by far tho
|
| |
I’ve never listened to this - I really don’t know if it’s something I’d dig, feel like it’d be a big ol bore
|
| |
A lot of it might not be for you. Check out "Outro" at least. And "Midnight City", and "Intro"
|
| |
Midnight City is an eternal jam, I’ll check the bookends tonight. If u say Outro > Wait then my expectations are high

The only songs I really like from this are Intro [4.5], Midnight City [5], Reunion [4], Wait [5] and Outro [3.5]
rest is all filler for me
and by filler I really mean all the remaining tracks sound like weaker versions of the ideas put forward in those five toons
I listen to it as a 5/5 EP rather than a 2.5/5 album....people do swear by the full 'double album experience' with this though, and pitchfork still haven't recovered from the orgasm this triggered in their loins
