I have a hard time thinking of another band quite as inconsistent as this one. Most bands either start strong or finish strong, with a few outliers along the way, but these guys are all over the map.

The bass playing on this is so indicative of how classics are made. Never busy, but it leads and supports the songs in interesting and exciting ways. The guitar textures are everything too. The primary descriptor for this record, in my mind, is tasteful.
