Well it was in 2009 or something now but even then i think the whole renewed interest in skramz has only really grown and come about in the last few years tbh i dont remember there being that much fuss over skramz when i got into it like 5 years ago

Every new emerging band doesn't sound like a rip off of Defeater and Touche anymore like five years ago either. Those fuckers were popping up like weeds
