@foxxxy there's no perfect tracklist bc obviously he died too early, having said that they locked out the guy who actually produced the bulk of the album with Elliott and got some people unconnected to the project to finish it. a lot of the most essential shit was cut either out of worry about how people would react (Suicide Machines, for obvious reasons) or out of just not having the knowledge of how Elliott wanted the album to go (Shooting Star was meant to be first, True Love was one of his favourite songs, some of his experimental noise stuff was supposed to be on there etc). you can find two tracklists Elliott posted online when the album was still in progress, they're just drafts ofc but I made a pretty damn good double album playlist based on those

Maybe I have a problem

But that's not what I wanted to say

I'd prefer to say nothing

I got a long way to go, I'm getting further away...

If you really meant that, then you’d 5 this. Otherwise, I can’t trust you.

Starting to think I might like this slightly more than XO. The peaks on that one are higher, but this is a tad more consistent (even if it could still have trimmed 3 or 4 tracks).

Kicks the shit out of XO. (I mean, XO rules like all Elliott, but this is his opus. Just come around, already)

"Son of Sam" is such a sweet choon, maybe my fav Elliott opener so far.

Having heard all his albums released in his lifetime now I can definitely say he was super consistent, they're all excellent and Either/Or is the only one I would say is significantly better than the others.

"Stupidity Tries" is such a great power pop song, love that outro.

That I hope tomorrow brings

Oh what a surprise

Fuck. I just saw this on the same front page as 5 Finger Death Punch’s latest garbage, and I realized that this album has the same initials. Goddammit
