Had a stupidly large grin on my face since this time yesterday even though I know we're still pretty weak for the long-run. Still with that plus the Aussie selectors' arrogance I think this week has been just great.
Anyone think there's any point in me applying for the 2011 contrib posts?

Rosco, since my attempt at motivating you to write more reviews failed, I doubt you will get the promotion, but it wouldn't hurt to put your name out there. The head honchos very much look at quality of writing, & I've always said you are right up there.

I wouldn't say failed davey. If you look at the decline in my output since you stopped 'motivating' me it points to you having a fairly posotive effect. Anyway look out over the next few days as I'll be strengthening my application with the posting of my 40th review; I can't go a whole calender year writing just 4 after all.
