I didn't mean specifically that he'd add some kind of extraneous cost to listen to those tracks only, but it's entirely possible that he mandate the removal of entire albums. This is precisely why KC's discography has been unavailable for so long.
lmao

Even then, I fail to see how that makes any sense "yeah let's add our discography to this streaming service then remove stuff for shits and giggles"

No one said it has to make sense. It didn't make sense that Fripp waited so goddamn long to add KC's discography to digital streaming platforms in the first place. (Aside from possibly greed, but I guarantee the additional exposure will be beneficial to them in the long run anyway.)
And again it's not an issue of finding the music. I have their entire discography on my computer. I just don't want to put it on my phone if I don't have to. Why waste the storage?

I just say this because of people's overreliance on Spotify. Not everything is going to be on there. I guarantee you whatever's missing will probably be back up in less than a week.

Spotify is poopy I agree

But nowadays that my ipod's storage capacity is like one third of what I have on my pc, I wish I had an inexpensive way of listening to all of my music outside of my house

Of couse youtube isn't an option

I still like to download all of my stuff and edit each and every tag in the songs to have a fully organized library

"buy multiple ipods sirlord"

lmao, that'd still be cheaper than buying a high capacity FiiO which is like the only other option

have three ipods divided into sections of the alphabet so it doesn't get confusing as to what's on each one

I know not everything is on Spotify - the albums/music that isn't, I keep on my phone. For the longest time I had KC's discog on my phone. When they added everything to Spotify, I was able to clear up several GB of space on my phone lol. I'm merely saying that it would be a pain in my ass if I had to add them all back. I'm sure this is just some weird error, like you said, but I'm throwing out the sentiment that if Fripp has anything to do with this, he's a dick. But that's likely not the case.

I actually unsubscribed recently because the sound quality of some albums is a goddamn travesty

If it wasn't for streaming services, portable music players would still be the main source to listen to music, which means they'd be way cheaper than now that they're considered devices for "hardcore music fans"

Used to rock and ipod and a phone at the same time, but then I ended up just putting music on my phone. No point in holding 2 devices

Thing is, it is pretty difficult to get a phone with as much storage space as an ipod classic

I've also heard that the sound quality of ipod classics is better than the one in cellphones, though I haven't verified if that's true or not

Why not add an SD card? They're so cheap now

Yeah an SD is probably the best solution nowadays. They're not cheap in my country though, but I suppose that's the path I'll end up taking
