Yeah the riffs are totally great. I'm pretty excited I just got the Trolsk Sortmetall box-set for only $100. Includes the black metal trilogie and a demo on 4 pieces of silver vinyl as well as some books and a cassette tape.

Paysage d'Hiver has the fuzz and isn't produced nearly as loud, which takes off a lot of the edge and makes it far more listenable. This is max volume treble for 45 minutes.

And that's what tickles my trout the most :')

I must have misunderstood. I figured people didn't like the raw production because they think it sounds "bad", not because it can be harsh on the ears. Makes more sense now.

Better that Bergtatt

Nah, but it's right after it.

Bergtatt is cool but I like this more. Probably the most kvlt black metal I listen to.

Bergtatt is better but this is almost the same.

WARNING: Do NOT listen with headphones. The guitar's from the right ear are extremely painful.

Has anyone heard the remastered version? Or the demos?
|
| |
Remaster makes casual listens easier, but it loses almost all the charm it had before. I like having my ears bleed dammit

Haven't heard the remastered version. Does it sound better?
|
| |
Production is considerably less harsh. Wouldn't say it sounds better but you could tell there was some tweaking to it
|
| |
Does it matter?
Remastering BM is like dissecting a frog
You understand it better but the frog dies in the process
