You and Ec have a case of the opposites. He remembers this thread fondly but you just can't remember the good times.. Sniff
I figured I should share, Rev! I have a new EP coming too! I have finished writing 5 of the 6 tracks. I just gotta record three of them and bada bing BADA BOOM

You literally said it like six comments ago lol "Does you remember it have something to do with the fact that its still going"
Please tell me you can notice the horrible grammar
I said got fucked up cause Rev came and put a damper on our funny times by saying mean things. YOU HAVE A HORRIBLE MEMORY! Thank you for being excited though :]

Oh ok I completely misinterpreted
With you saying "And then it got all fucked up" and then immediately after "DOES YOU REMEMBER" I thought you were talking about something that happened ages ago in this thread and asking me if I remembered
So I was thinking of things that happened like months and months back and not having a clue what you meant
Now I see what you mean and yes, I meant to type "does you remembering have anything to do..." etc.
YOU'RE WELCOME will 5 immediately ofc and probably listen sometime after

Sweet
So is this EP going in my direction more, the post-rocky stuff as opposed to the skramz?
|

You've heard both songs released so far, yeah? And that one demo I posted? It will sound like all of those, which are more atmospheric and less skramzish. The techy-ness and schizophrenia will be scaled back slightly in favor of a more post-rocky sort of feel, but it will probably still be complex and all over the place to the average listener. I have no idea!

I don't believe I've heard them, no

In my personal opinion, I think people are going to like this next EP a lot more than Untitled. I have no idea what the fuck to call it though or do for the album art

Step 1. Grab the artwork for No Place
Step 2. Put it into negative colour
Step 3. Call your EP "A House that Has Rooms"
Step 4. Change your band name to La Dispute

The first two songs on there are from the next EP. You also heard the demo containing tracks 1 and most of track 2, so at this point you have heard 2/3 of the album!

There is even a hint of "clean vocals" on God's Lonely Man! I hesitate to call it singing or even clean, but WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

The 1976 film Network. It's classic and the monologue is gorgeous

The reception to the two songs so far has been absolutely amazing, so I think people are going to dig the fuck out of this EP. I've actually been working on refining these songs and shaping them as opposed to Untitled being a spur of the moment improvisational record
