Me too. Someday

Wither is definitely cheesy but the second half of The Best Of Times is quite touching. Not many DT ballads off the top of my head can top it

Nah. Close though. Spirit Carries On and Space Dye Vest top it

Hmm wait for sleep maybe, but as good as the others are nah. I'm really into the emotional weight that The Best Of Times has

The Best of Times is also over twice as long as those and has lots of guitar riffs and soloing so it's kind of hard to compare. I'd say they're all top tier DT ballads, One Last Time too

I thought One Last Time was the weakest on what is otherwise a perfect album. However, the reprise on Finally Free is absolutely amazing

Not a ballad but definitely a highlight

One Last Time is good

The best DT ballad is definitely Space-Dye Vest imo, but Disappear and The Spirit Carries On are quite good too. But the ending of The Count of Tuscany is up there too. Highlight of this album imo is LaBrie's voice doesn't sound like complete shit

Album Rating: 3.0
dt standards are fairly low and this is their best post-six degrees album

Still better than Systematic Chaos though. And A Dramatic Turn of Events is my favorite post-six degrees album (never understood all the hate for it)
|

it was stale and boring

Systematic Chaos was the biggest anal stain on the band's discog
