How do we know Shadowmire isn't just Alex's alt?
|
| |
Yikes, is this angry Alex? I remember digging the coda of Abyss Hinge 2 tbh. I could listen to it again now...or I could go to sleep and maybe do a long overdue discog run over a Dark Souls 3 replay tomorrow

because i can't be bothered to rate classical music anymore
e; also, he would be my alt
|
| |
Alex would never bring himself to 5 a Devin Townsend album, even in disguise.
|
| |
Well, considering the dates when we joined, it would make more sense that I am the alt.

Hmmm you all raise valid points. I will let this one slide.

"Yikes, is this angry Alex?"
Nah, I only get angry here when talking about New York. Also, the beginning of Abyss Hinge 2 is the best part of it. Honestly that's my favourite Driver moment (along with Lethe).

Ugh fuck you, okay...

iTunes tells me I have listened to this 14 times in the past, which means over 3 hours of playthrough hmm. The opening's decent, still not a patch on the Calonyction Girl outro though

"The opening's decent, still not a patch on the Calonyction Girl outro though"
I will literally slap you.

More compositionally interesting but the FEELS in Calonyction dude

Horns > Feels.

I want to feel your horn(s)
|
| |
I want to feel Driver's horn(s).
|
| |
Around the Gamma Knife/Hubardo era I remember Driver saying that horns were metal as fuck because the process of blowing Air From Your Lungs through an instrument was more physically intense than vibrating a string over a pickup...
|
| |
Not wrong.
|
| |
Indeed not. This coda is badass, I remember correctly. Will concede, this song holds its own with mid-tier Blue Lambency fare and is better than most of Gamma Knife

In that case make an album entirely from the sounds of sacrificing animals over an altar.
|
| |
That was the secret cause of Gamma Knife's production style.
