No shit it's counterfeit. Who cares? It gets rid of all the clipping the released version has. It's pretty sad when the Guitar Hero tracks sound better than the album version. I am a huge Metallica fan but even I know that they hadn't really made anything worth while since The Black Album. Death Magnetic is much better than their last 3 LP's but it's horrible mastering was the only thing holding it back. Say what you will about downloading music but I know this version is much better than the released version. I'd post it for you but apparently if it's not released by the band you don't want it. I guess you'll have to settle for Rick Rubins over produced muddy sounding cut.
But if you are interested the version I have is called Moderus III.

Supposively the best Version is one by a dude called deceiver or something like that.
This would be a 4 easily if the mastering wasn't so awful.
