I still hear a nice string section on Paradise. I also think the synths on that song fit very well.

how is the title track so stunningly gorgeous and the rest is so eh

Lovers in Japan is an outstanding track. Is a shame that coldplay went downhill after this

they still wrote good songs but just very few of them (e.g. Midnight, O, Adventure of a Lifetime)

You mean to ask me Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends?
I meant Viva la Vida
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
Yeah that's what I meant
Viva La Vida was one of the first songs I ever truly loved, I have so much nostalgia associated with it that it's almost ridiculous
|
| |
Of course they still have good songs even in their weakest efforts
Adventure in lifetime, midnight, oceans, atlas, moving to mars are excellent
but as a whole the new albums are average
|
| |
Lost! is a pretty bad song to be honest

Nah it's good
|
| |
Nah its not. Im no coldplay hater but its the worst song here and one of their worst out of the first 3 albums(not including x and y of course)
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.5
Lost is dece but yeah one of the weaker ones here
|
| |
I havent spinned this album in a while. Should probably do a discography run. Nice rating though it seems accurate :D
This album is just so beautiful and amazing. Screw the haters.
Also no, Lost is still pretty meh honestly.

So the ultimate question is ... Viva La Vida or Violet Hill? I dont know why I always felt they were kind of like companions to each other. Maybe cause they were the two big singles on the album. I think I might prefer Violet Hill honestly but both are awesome.

I prefer Viva La Vida to Violet Hill but there's a huge nostalgia factor there as Viva La Vida was the first song I ever truly loved and arguably is solely responsible for getting me into music.

Viva la Vida has the same nostalgic value to me. It was the reason i got this and got me into music but overtime i grew to like violet hill more
