I’m still not sold on tracks 7-11 but I’m loving almost everything else here. “People As Places As People” might be my favorite. I also really like a lot of the guitar interplay here, I’m not familiar enough with Johnny Marr to pick out his lines from Isaac’s but they play together really well.

Yeah People is really underrated. And you’re mostly right about tracks 7-11 (aside from Little Motel, which is great).

"Little Motel" is maybe a bit cheesy but it's good. I do like "Fly Trapped In A Jar" a lot, though the opening and closing part of that song is awful. The verses of "We've Got Everything" are great but the chorus (with James Mercer's repeated "we've got") falls really flat. "Education" is fine, though Isaac's vocals are on some weird shit on that one. "Steam Engenius" is... "Steam Engenius". Lol.

'Education' is a little underrated.
'Steam Engenius' is this album's 'Choo Choo'? :/

"Education" isn't bad for sure and I like the instrumental plenty, as I said it's what Isaac's up to on that one that grates for me. It's also pretty similar in vibe to the second half of "Fly Trapped" which immediately precedes it which makes it feel a bit redundant.
On the whole I think if you cut out "We've Got", "Education", "Steam Engenius" you've got a tighter and very consistent album clocking in around 50 minutes. You'd have to resequence it a bit in that case but that album would be a strong 4 from me... As is though those few tunes probably aren't quite weak enough to drag it below a 4.

My two least favourites are actually the two last tunes, but I could also lose ‘Steam’.
Rest I’m happy with...although ‘WGE’ is a bit goofy
Just never saw the point of the album continuing after ‘Spitting Venom’

hmmm, I love "People As People" a lot, that one feels kind of like it might've fit in the later run of The Moon and Antarctica, great melody and lyrics on that one and the guitar is really great too. "Invisible" maybe isn't one to play on its own but I like it as a closer, kind of pulls a similar trick to "What People Are Made Of" but it works.
Top 3 for me are "Missed the Boat" (perfect little pop song), "PAPAP", and "Spitting Venom" (I don't love the opening section but everything after that is amazing, that riff in the middle section is incredible (that section has a bit of a "Truckers Atlas" vibe methinks) as are the horns in the outro).

my top three is yours just replace People with Parting

I love "Parting" too but that one maybe reaches a bit beyond its grasp imo, doesn't really fit with the rest here either.

It feels like the album needs another song or so after Spitting Venom, but anything after is kind of overshadowed by it. Similar with Life Like Weeds on TMAA.

Top three for me are Spitting Venom, Little Motel and Parting of the Sensory (March Into the Sea would probably be 4th).

I really like the end of "March", hated the song at first though, thought Isaac's manic "AH-HAH-HAH"s were a bit much but I see what he's going for there and the end makes up for it.

Rated (not fully ranked):
4.5/5: "Missed the Boat", "Spitting Venom, "People As Places As People"
4/5: "Dashboard" (don't feel a whole ton for this one as a "song" but it's trying to be really catchy and hooky and it works), "Florida" (love the fast-paced guitar here), "Parting of the Sensory", "Invisible"
3.5/5: "March Into the Sea", "Fire It Up" (this one is fully Modest Mouse writing a Modest Mouse song, not bad by any means but nothing particularly special here), "Fly Trapped", "Little Motel"
3/5: "Education"
2.5/5: "We've Got Everything", "Steam Engenius"
Hopefully one or two of those top 3 will grow to 5/5 territory otherwise this would be the first Modest Mouse release I've heard without at least one 5/5 song.

Parting of the Sensory is a 5 for the opening 90 seconds or so...Spitting Venom is a 5 for the last 90 seconds or so
