Debating whether to see Deftones or Dimmu Borgir next week (clash on the festival I'm going to, haven't seen both). New Dimmu blows but kind of want to hear the classics. As for Deftones, I'd wish they'd play more off this album

I'd be disappointed if I went to see them live and they didn't cover Ohms extensively. It's my favorite album of theirs.

I don’t remember any of this the second I stop listening to it, as though someone’s wipes my memory with that device from Men in Black

Pretty sure this was his intro to Deftones, which might explain that

I've been listening to Deftones since 2004 and I've heard all their albums. I legitimately just enjoyed this one the most.

I can def see someone rationalizing this being their best album... along with basically every other album besides Adrenaline and Gore

peeps call this unmemorable (I see it quite a lot) as if the second half of Error didn't instantly become one of my absolute peak Deftones moments the exact instant I first heard it

Yeah I don't get the unmemorable argument either. You could criticize the lack of experimentation, or say that ATF was heavier, but this thing is literally brimming with sonic energy and possesses many of their catchiest melodies to date.

I thought KNY was their best then today I listened to the holy trinity Digital Bath / Change / Knife prty / RX queen and remembered. WP has some weak tracks though unlike KNY which has maybe one weaker track.

There's a better argument for Adrenaline being their best album than this being it.

And I’ve been a fan since Koi No Yokan came out, I’d legit rather watch them play a set of this album in its entirety than the bullshit we just got on the last tour

I’ve been a fan since 1999 or 2000 and this wouldn’t surprise me as someone’s favorite. But uh, Koi No Yokan is the one above all (3)

uuhh, info circling around that we might be getting a new single on the 27th "Daisy Forgive Me".

the single artwork isn't the most convincing thing ever but...speculate away? https://www.reddit.com/r/deftones/comments/vdzkws/daisy_forgive_me_single_june_27/
