case for gnx: stripping it down to just the tunes makes this a remarkably easy listen in comparison, it's tighter, more consistent, and doesn't have a kodak feat bogging it down and making the centerpiece of the drake feud feel completely hypocritical
case against gnx: it also isn't as intensely personal to the point of almost being too much for those uninitiated, we cry together is a very hard listen, but it is a potent message that feels important in spite of my initial reaction being "what the fuck?" i realized that i was supposed to feel that way, it did its job, it was meant to make you think
