I wish Qobuz didn't have such a godawful UI, would easily be my fave if it were better
Tidal is missing too much music too
Apple Music and honestly Amazon Music HD are the best middle ground imo

Yeah I appreciate that Apple does still least have it even tho it seems to usually be mostly for "mainstream" releases
Hennyways, I need to get this on CD lol. My friend bought it for me on vinyl hut I had to sell my player a while ago smh

I have a question, what do you guys think of Brendan Murphy's habit of shitposting on Twitter? Does it have a promotional positive effect on the band or a negative effect?

@notagenius
I'm a little late but Pup's Sleep in the Heat is not about a dog, it's about the singer's pet chamelon (hence the song title)
You can see it in the Mabu mv 1min in (wich is about the "death" of the singer's car btw lol)

this is something I never knew. thank you so much for letting me know. I saw her on the video. a baby one. This brings to my mind a forgotten memory that I looked after a chameleon for a week in a museum and how he amazed me with everything he did.

I got both the 320 Kbps and the FLAC
I honestly think that maybe the 320K sounds a little bit better...
I will try and get the CD for this and compare it...

Skin is nice but I can't get over Mirrors and Flesh. Brendan incorporating END's highs into Counterparts is so satisfying m//

I've totally fallen back in love with the singles. all 3 are really really great! Vow > Bound = Whispers. It also completely reverses my past opinion that the first half of the album was stale.
I shouldn't have jammed the singles at the time, it clouded the judgement of the whole record, it was so hard to resist tho.

Bound is so fucking good. I held out on listening to it until the album dropped and it did not disappoint.

heck I suddenly understand why @Get Low would say Nothing Left To Love is the best and this record has uninteresting leads, boring breakdowns.
Because while this bears a resemblance to Nothing Left To Love, one of the major differences is that the guitar styles are different.
on NLTL, there are tons of melodic riffs and the leads sound big metal-influenced.
on this, because of the return of Alex Re and Jesse Doreen, both leads and riffs are restored to what counterparts were (pre-You're Not You Anymore era). The riffs are also more rhythmic than melodic and with hardcore style.
This return will be readily accepted by listeners who are familiar with them, but will feel unfamiliar or even a step back for listeners who enjoyed them because of their last release.
If that's the case, I'm guessing GetLow only accepted Counterparts since NLTL (or YNYA, but definitely not earlier).
