never really got into this band tbh but I dont mind the new EP. Dante is defs the best song I think. Pretty palatable release but nothing that amazing

Erm. I mean. I like some of it.

Miasma would be a great track if they just deleted Winston McCall and the IGNITENITENITENTEBLEEEEEERRRRRP.

Dante is fantastic but would be even better if the mix wasn't so wonky.

Let Me Disappear sounds like a Korn B-Side from the questionable Head-less era.

As for Kraft... As far as I'm concerned, rapping is never okay on a Northlane track.

I'm probably just going to treat this EP as a single that only includes Dante and maybe Afterimage / Miasma.

Man, the new EP is so disappointing. Which is weird, considering it's not that stylistically different from this album, which I like a lot. I don't know what happened here, sounds like they had to put something out for the sake of it. And yeah the production has a lot to answer for, here.

Definitely their worst. I admittedly like Dante a lot tho.

Many of you fellas dragged this one to the ground, so I can see why you didn't like the EP. I personally loved it

I mean of course it does (I gave this a 5 lol), but I really don't see the problem with the latest EP if you enjoyed this one lol

The production is kinda poo (which is a big shame considering the joy of this) and Let Me Disappear is lolbad but other than that I am happy, hyped to see it live. Dante is an eternal banger.

Dante could've fit on this. Besides that, the only thing Mirror's Edge has in common with Obsidian is that they both

1. have Marcus singing 2. chug 3. use synthesizers.

Saying they're the same style is like saying Linkin Park and 2013 Stone Temple Pilots are the same band.

anyway Dante > Afterimage > Kraft > Miasma > AIDS >>> Let Me Disappear (EP needs a day one patch to fix this song lol)

Side note: Lower the volume of your Mirror's Edge EP files by -1.5 DB to bring them more in line with the two preceding albums.

I even like Let Me Disappear. They do some bold bogus shit but I love it. I can’t help but feel its like anchored in Linkin Park and I just love all of it

I didn’t like the production either but after I settled into the sound I was able to tolerate it and appreciate the tracks themselves. Def a less than savory decision

i can appreciate some of the ideas in what theyre trying to do. miasma's lil lead thingy that pops up a minute in that's basically used like a synth line is a clear extension of "what if obsiddy but guitars" to me but i dont think a single song lands fully for me personally. the new release kinda points out why the scaling back of the guitars made obsiddy so compelling for me since they really didn't stand out to me
