Haven't really paid attention to the attention this got, but I'm glad it's consensus (here at least) that this is his best since Trilogy.

No, but, what don't you like? I've never really disliked anything he's done (except maybe Dear Melancholy), but this is definitely my favourite of his second to House of Balloons. Really, really love, e.g., Snowchild into Escape from LA, and the last couple tracks. Album's a big blob of near-indistinguishable moody ramblings (can see it being boring because of that), but I find it as affecting as his earliest stuff.
