I always wondered why Wildlife is held so high in peoples minds. Guess I need to relisten. I always liked the River most. Wildlife was a tad too unconsistent - which is the strength of this one (like someone already mentioned)

lyrics are incredible if you don't mind Jordan's inherent extra-ness, it's an incredibly passionate record and the dynamics in each song are basically perfect
that record is one of my hardest 5s

I dunno, I think this and Wildlife are amazing albums and both very clearly their best work. Really hard for me to understand how a fan of this band could dislike Wildlife — it’s their prime.

okay yeah, the lyrics and passion of Jordan are really big on Wildlife, but instrumentally I would go for River everytime over everything else - even this. Though this has a better production
